INCENSE RECIPES

Incense is used by practitioners of magic to enhance spells and communication with the spirits and gods. The following incenses are all made from natural ingredients. By burning natural ingredients, you are releasing the magical qualities of the herbs into the universe thus increasing the success rate of a magical spell or ritual. FLOOR WASHES

I can remember as a small child waking up to the

sound of splashing water and then intense

scrubbing. This sound so familar was my

grandmother washing the entrance to our home

with a particular scented water mixture. The herbal /

water mixture was called floor wash which she

believed would take away the evil eye and protect

our home. The use of floor washes by Latin

American Spiritualists is quite common.

Spiritualists believe that by washing an area with a

specially prepared herbal mixture they are bringing

out the magical properties of the herbs which make

up the floor wash. Floor washes can be used for

such things as to attract love, luck, money and for

protection. Many spiritualists believe that floor

washes will enhance a magical spell and bring

GENERAL FORMULA FOR
MAKING FLOOR WASH

• Boil all of the ingredients for 20 minutes in 1 quart

of water.
• Allow the liquid mixture to cool.
• Add 1 cup of ammonia to the liquid mixture.
